He had a pre-Ashley-Simpson moment on the short lived LEEZA AND SOMEBODY WHO I CAN'T REMEMBER show, with Leeza Gibbons.
He came out, singing his song, doing exaggerated hand gestures, in a hastily made-up nursery-set on the studio floor, and he went to sit on a big, multi-colored ball as part of his choreography. But the ball scooted out from under him, and he fell on his tush, and went silent. But the song kept on going. For, like, 15 seconds. He then got up, and frantically tried to catch up to the song, in this bizzare, super-frenetic way, trying to speed through the choreography he had missed, to get to the part where the song was-- like, he was incapable of just trying to sing from the point of the song where it was; he had to try to go through his rote routine to catch up, but he couldn't, and he totally spazzed out, and it cut the song short, and went to Leeza Gibbons-- And was it John Tesh? Maybe? Just saying, "Jordi!" and then going to commercial. When they returned from commercial, no mention was made of the goings on.
