Yeah, but T2 was a big hit that summer as well. Doh! I actually deleted my mention of that before posting. Yes, it was. It was the only movie of its kind although, as Rolling Stone's Peter Travers pointed out, it fit in with the rest of the heartstring-tugging line-up by reinventing Arnie's signature cold-blooded cyborg assassin as a cuddly father figure, complete with a tear-jerker ending (hope I'm not spoiling it for anyone). |

 Ethan Hawke is looking sort of chubby in this picture, isn't he? Thank God he lost all that baby fat, eh? Fortunately, Heather Graham doesn't seem to care. Or is it Uma Thurman? I'd suggest Piper Perabo, but I don't think she had even been born yet. |

I actually remember a time when BRAIN DONORS was known as LAME DUCKS
It's too bad that LAME DUCKS drew the short straw when it came to having an lame title and a visually unappealing poster. I remember when "Walk Like a Man" was supposed to be called "Bobo the Dog Boy". I remember really looking forward to it (it was at the height of Mendel's popularity with his HBO special and St. elsewhere). Then it came our with that title and I no longer had any desire to see it. |
