Wasn't there something last year that got moved with a week before release?

I'm trying to think of other big things that have suddenly shifted. Singer's JACK THE GIANT KILLER got pushed back to March, but that was still six months to go.

March 2013 is also crowded already, with Raimi's OZ, Singer's movie, a few horror movies and now this.

Holy shit, and the conventional wisdom was so positive up til now.  This must be a huge problem.

Nothing this big. I've had GI JOE 2 tickets on sale. Now I have to cancel all those showtimes, and the ones for TED.

What am I thinking of, though? I could have sworn that *something* got moved really last minute. It's driving me crazy.

The BET channel is probably suing them for trademark infringement.

I almost don't want to even watch the movie. Like "Good enough guys!" "But Nate we made a full movie" "I said... that was good enough!"

I think you may be on to something.

There is no movie.  There was just an ad campaign.  Now they need nine months to go out and shoot the damn thing.

AICN says they want to reshoot to add lots more Tatum to it.

When they said they wanted to add 3D, they failed to mention that 3D is the codename for Duke's twin brother.

Huh?

I wouldn't mind. There was no reason to have less of him if you ask me.

Phew!  For a minute there, I was afraid that they were going to take this opportunity to add lots more Bruno to the movie to expand his role from being that of an over advertised cameo.

Isn't Bruce Willis in it a lot?  He seems to be?  I'm guessing he comes in halfway through?

Bruce Willis can't be in much of the reshoots though, on account of he's overseas doing YOU BETTER DIE HARD.

It's just a hunch based one what we've seen in the trailers.  He seems to be contained to one extended sequence which begins at his house, involves perhaps a quick surprise COBRA attack and a scene in which he gives The Rock a vehicle.

I'll bet his total screen time is about the same as that of Tom Waits in MYSTERY MEN.

Huh?

In the animated GI JOE: THE MOVIE, there is a device called the Broadcast Energy Transmitter...which means the Joes are constantly saying "the B.E.T." over and over again, which in this day and age is unintentionally hilarious.

So it sounds like they had a good movie (Tatum gets killed quick, on to other characters, YAY!) but then they had to re-do a lot of it because he's been in other movies.
