What's weird is, while I have sullied by instant ANGEL cred with the male cyber world, the combo of writing SPIKE, ANGEL and now THE SIMS (which is extremely popular with the ladies it turns out), has led to many private messages on myspace that are flirty and weird.

I also cop to not getting if that was an actual comment, or a meta-textual, ironically self-aware "lame" insult (?) meant to show that you are actually just goofing around and it is all a big joke? Or if it was some kind of serious snark-attack at first that is now trying to be coyly all, "I was KIDDING it was a meta joke because I'm hip like that" now that you realize that maybe you've mis-assessed the situation, and Brian is more an up and coming Joss Whedon than an up and coming Uwe Boll and you want to somehow be friendly yet maintain your ...um... webboard hardcore cred or something... and don't know how to extricate from the conversation?
