That line was awesome in BATMAN FOREVER, though.  And the Wonder Woman is just a rumor, it might not be true.  If it is, it could be fun.
I agree it could be fun.  I also agree the line was awesome.  I don't hate Batman Forever at all (having said that, I haven't seen it in ages so who knows if it holds up for me).  That line is still awesome, though, hence why I remember it.

Someone with a lot of time on their hands is going to edit the movie down to 2 hours, and it'll be pretty decent. I mean, there are a few inescapable problems, like why Wayne is crippled if he gave up being Batman 8 years ago, and Bane's weird old man voice, but some clever editing could probably change the bizarre "This bomb sets you free, now YOU can rule Gotham" mess into a "There is no Law, there is no escape, I have a bomb, go fucking nuts" plot, and also make JGL into the main character, so it's more like turning the idea of a sequel on its head rather than gypping us on Batman screentime.

But hoping for the Internet to fix this movie's problems is a pretty damning indictment.

I think that my marathon viewing benefited me a lot. Because by the time we were an hour into Dark Knight, my brain had committed to the whole 9 hours, so I stopped noticing pacing issues or scenes dragging.

I hope Joseph Gordon Levit Batman wins the lottery, because Bruce Wayne didn't leave him shit. He's still broke, so he didn't get any money. He can probably stay in the Boy's Home if he asks nicely, but even that would be weird. Wayne Enterprises is never not broke, so there's nothing else Morgan Freeman can make presumably. All he's left with is a Bat-pod and a bunch of broken Tumblers. And costumes that probably don't fit right.

He got hosed.

Maybe he'll start charging for his services or have a tip jar attached to his utility belt.

Gordon: Thank you!

JGL Batman: You never have to thank me..... but you do have to pay me!

I thought I explained that part pretty well earlier.

He OD'd at Mary Kate Olsen's house.

I liked the movie, but then again, I thought everything in TDK save for Ledger was boring and FAR more Republican than this movie's been accused of being ("Tapping people's cell phones? Ethically wrong, but DAMN does it get the job done!") and Batman Begins has basically been wiped from my memory. I didn't get the point of bringing in the Al Ghul family again, and even though pretty much everyone figured out that Edith Piaf was Talia from the start, I was genuinely glad that they didn't make Bane Liam Neeson's son.

I'd rank it second out of the three, but if I bothered to rewatch "Begins", my opinion may change.

Oh man, I love this. Gordon starts giving Batman excuses on why he can't pay him so Batman starts choking Gordon with a phone cord. I'm really liking the sound of this movie the more I think about it.

It'd be awesome if, ten seconds after the final shot he was like "Huh. Well that's all pretty cool, I guess" and then left and never went back.

He literally has access to better resources if he just keeps working with the Gotham Police Department.

The visual of this made me laugh.  "Uhh, this is all kind of cool, but I don't understand how any of it works, so...I'm gonna go and see if I can get my old job back."

I picture him trying the grappling gun, not being able to figure it out and then losing interest.

Am I safe to assume we're all generally confused as to whether JGL becomes Batman or not?

There's no way JGL gets on that rising platform and finds a big bat-manual that explains how the new Tumblr works, etc.

Now, that would have been a scene!  The Mayor is in the bat cave dressed up and explains everything to Robin.

Those are all wonderful, but "Catlike Woman Moves Like Cat, Is Woman" is just the best.

I dunno, "Harvey Dent Marred By Commissioner's Bafflingly Short Speech" is pretty great.

You guys!  This movie was not so good, eh?

I like "Mayor May Have Exploded" on the bottom.
