This site has existed for nearly as long as I've been a legal adult, that's a crazy thought. Everyone else took all the good sentiments, but they're all true, this place is an awesome collection of the coolest people on the internet!

11 years? Really? Seems like just yesterday I started reading it and now, look at us. This site is one of only a few that I go to every day. It's a lot of fun reading all the posts, the reviews, the arguments, and the jokes. Here's to 11 more years!

The only thing that I kind of miss was in the early days when there were a few bad apples that people would get into hilarious fights with and when Andy got big and a bunch of nuts came on the board, and were also handled hilariously.
But it evolved into something better with the same kind of interesting discussions. So it's all good. In this hood.

First off, thank you Brian for giving al of us this litle corner of the web and all the great content that comes with it. This really is a one of a kind place as we've all seem to have created this great comunity and to some degree or another care about each other. Yeah, we talk about dumb shit and get into silly arguments but it seems when shit hits the fan for one of us as a group we wish each other well and seem to give a damn. This is a great place and I'm glad I stumbled onto this site from the View Askew message board years and years ago.
Last thing I gotta say to wrap up this sappy post is that this mesage board and everybody on it ARE STILL REAL TO ME DAMNIT!

Happy Anniversary Everyone! Thanks Josh, for getting this site started! And Keith Miller, for registering the site (and ditching the "Young" in the original name of the comic, because it sounded too long).
I wish we had some original content for you to celebrate. Monkey Man made his debut 11 years ago this summer, and he's still going strong. So that's nice? We did do a PARTY TRUCK, and even though it's Jordy-less I think it's gonna be pretty great. I sent in the ANGRY NAKED PAT voices way over a year ago for the fourth episode, so that'll happen someday. Or not, who's to say, really?
Either way, I appreciate you guys hanging out. Hopefully we can have more stuff for you soon.

Congrats on another year! Part of the fun of this site has been 'watching' the funny guy on the VA Boards set up shop on his own, get his own projects out there (I remember grabbing PATCHOULI UNLIMITED at Midtown Comics) and eventually write some Oscar nominated films. I'm more of a lurker at this point, but even when I'm not contributing to the conversation, it's been a blast to read and track what Brian, and the community he built, is up to. Hooray!
