There was a FAMILY MATTERS reference that didn't call attention to itself this week. I like this show's style.

Nick Wagner is my favorite character on TV right now. This show is really advocating for porn careers.

The first season was only 6 episodes long. Kind of amazing we get another one in a few weeks though.

Or at all.  It was the lowest ranked show on US broadcast television (2011-12).

They actually showed the same episode back to back nights each week and it would get better ratings the second night.

A band I really liked is the "house band" this season. It's really bizarre. So these people only pay $400 in rent at that place AND it's full of sexy singles AND cool Canadian bands play all the time? Not to mention frequent run-ins with Paul F. Tompkins! I love this show.

This new season came up on me quick. I wasn't expecting it last night. Hoping my TiVo caught it.

I work for two affiliates in Milwaukee, one of which is a CW.  Trying to find commercials willing to air in LA Complex is really difficult.

That said I watched all six episodes, riveted.  It's so bad and great.  It makes me miss the new Melrose Place.  What a one two punch those shows would be back to back.

Nick's vague questions about The Black Keys actually would have made good sketch ideas. He's a comedic savant.

You mean about the White Stripes?

Astro Burgers are In & Outs in the LA Complexverse. I wonder what the Astro Burger people thought of that. I haven't been that excited since Jersey Mike's was in 90210.

There was another "We're off to see the director's cut of (Movie that's already the director's cut) at the New Egypitan Aero Family" type of line recently.
