Has anyone played this on the 360? Thought about picking it up today as it does look like a blast.

It is exactly the same game as Power-Up Heroes. Just with different skin and a kind of Dragonball Z in air chainCombo possibility.

Is that a good thing?

It's an OK thing. You can sample the gameplay for both; the demos are available for free. You'll see what I mean. For my money, PUH is the better game with cooler motions (the hadoken as hadoken is fun to do) but both kind of come down to twitch reflex Janken.

Unless you really, really love marvel characters and also like figuring out motion controls, if you have PUH, you don't *need* Avengers. I like 'em both well enough. If you're gonna buy a kinect game, get FABLE. Holy crapballs, is it great.

I still say you can't beat Child of Eden.
