Right? That was terrible. What seventeen year old boy would give that much of a shit if his parents adopted a baby?
I half suspect the character was written as seven but there was a typo in the casting department's copies of the script. If the Season 1 dvd has deleted scenes about his parents struggling to shelter him from the truth about Santa Claus, I won't be surprised.

Hollywood people are even crazier than Broadway people.
People still don't know how to use call waiting.

He had roughly the same subplot this week as Teri Hatcher's nine year old son on Desperate Housewives.

not trying to be provocative but the kid from breaking bad has a reason to do line-readings the way he does, this kid doesn't.

Amazing.

This would be an awesome example if he wasn't the romantic lead on a top hit TV show.

I always completely forget that Jason Segal stars on a network sitcom. He has to be looking for the escape hatch on that thing.

It's a great show. You never watched? I doubt he's stabbing himself in the eye over it.

Well, I mean, he was cast when he was a lot skinnier and more attractive.

I saw the pilot several millenia ago. I like the cast, but it never looked like something I needed to watch weekly. But Segal's fast becoming one of the bigger comedic movie stars around. He has to be eager to move on from being second-banana to that boring guy who grows up to be Bob Saget.
