Why do you think I'm angry?  It's a very calm statement.  I don't understand the way you read things.  Do I need some kind of visual cue so that you know I'm not seething with rage or tearing my shirt off Hulk-style while typing?

Ironically, this kinda makes you seem a lot madder than you probably are.

*shrug*

I can't answer for a false perception of my emotions that someone is making from hundreds/thousands of miles away based on no evidence.

But hey, if that is the game that's afoot.  I'm going to take a wild stab that right now Hawkboy feels melancholy.  Hawkboy, why are you so sad?  Cheer up, man.

I'm not sure if everybody practices contextual precedent when talking and listening to others and while our fair Limbrunner is obsessed with video game technology of yore, I have certainly paid enough attention to him to know when he's making a humorous observation about the people around him being publicly upset from the matters of entertainment to current events.

Since you are clearly being overly defensive and unwilling to see the point of view of which Limbrunner made the statement, I will concede that you aren't angry and  I'm just going to chalk it up to you being humorless.

Not tryin' to be a jerk, but I certainly hope you're not implying that the issues are of comparable importance or that you have comparable levels of emotional investment in both of them.

Get educated, there's a lot of information out there.

My emotional investment is the same. Both are two situations where I have NO clue what has/had/is actually happened/happening.

And as far as "getting educated", from who? Since I haven't heard a word from Zimmerman, a witness, or Trayvon, everything else is speculation and hearsay. This is as a big of "jump to conclusions" as the Duke Lacrosse "rape". Media sources are enhancing videos, the 911 tape, and are even already doctoring evidence to make this all about race. Makes me sick.

I follow the "innocent until proven guilty" law.

And I'm not defending anyone, and I won't jump to anyone's defense unless I know the facts. The only assumption I can make as of now is that this situation equals ratings and good television.

What he said.

Skip my last post. And Derrick, I made it to stage 21 (chojin) on 1943 today without losing a single life.

Games of yore indeed.

Okay, Limbrunner, yeah, Zimmerman could totally be innocent of murdering an unarmed child despite the fact that video evidence proves he had none of the injuries he claimed to have as a result of his "self-defense" fight.

If you were on my Facebook right now I would X you, but fortunately you're exclusive like that.

The outrage here is that under the law and the way the police handled it, this guy will never have to prove innocence or guilt before a court or even a grand jury. He was never charged with anything, when the demonstrable facts of the baseless 911 call and the unarmed nature of the dead person and the armed nature of the dude that killed him seem to defy credulity.

the fact that video evidence proves...

"Enhanced video" shows the exact opposite. It depends on what channel you are watching, which is why I'm staying out of this (but will for some reason still talk about it).

I understand the uproar, but don't get why everyone seems to know everything about both parties involved and what happened that day. I'd say 70% of the time I hear about this on the news George is called "white" when he is of Peruvian descent.

It's all sensationalism right now, and hopefully the facts will come out soon.

If they disagree with me on, like, Ryan Gosling being awesome, probably not.  If they disagree with me on the notion that it is a bad thing for a racist vigilante to lynch a little kid who just wanted to buy some Skittles, probably yes.

It's my Facebook and I X who I want to.  (X = defriend)

One parent is white, the other is Hispanic.  The more salient point is that the cops believed he was white and listed him in their report as white.  Their bias is clear.

Which, not to be too judgey about it or nothin', I just have to say is the textbook definition of a lynching.  A murder motivated solely by the race of the victim and committed with total impunity, with the knowledge that local law enforcement is rabidly racist and will let you get away with it scot-free (if not encourage you).

So you can read the mind of police officers?

I hope the entire Skittles thing doesn't hurt sales. They've got the perfect spokesperson right now.
