I would agree. I think you're the one that got me into that movie. It's been so influential and oft-referenced, I'm surprised it didn't rank higher.
For me, personally, I'm pretty sure that movie birthed APE DUDE.

Mitchell did keep a dude-ionary didn't he? That or he recites poems while pretending his mattress is a surf board.

I have never ordered from that WB print on demand DVD site, but I almost ordered AIRBORNE when I saw it was available.

You're just shining a spotlight on them. And you know that. I'm not sure what you mean by that, but it sounds like you think it's a bad thing. Since it bugs you -- and no one else, myself included, seems to care one way or the other, -- I'll discontinue the "not enough info to rank properly" sub lists. I must say, though, that you seemed the sort of fellow to appreciate that degree of pedantry.

It's a little disappointing you'd just give up like that.
But yeah, you are either saying you've only seen parts of these movies in which case you haven't seen them and shouldn't list them or you are saying I don't remember them at all which is effectively like seeing them less than if you only saw parts.
And everyone agrees saying, "You've never seen Thelma & Louise???" is dumb but everyone also agrees it's never going to stop.

It's a little disappointing you'd just give up like that. Eh, I wasn't married to the concept, plus I've got other, more substantial Online Argument irons in the fire this week, so let's say you caught me on a good day. But yeah, you are either saying you've only seen parts of these movies in which case you haven't seen them and shouldn't list them or you are saying I don't remember them at all which is effectively like seeing them less than if you only saw parts. ...or I have seen them just nowhere near as often as the others, but yeah, fair enough. The ones I feel comfortable ranking are ones that I've either been frequently re-exposed to via cable and DVD over the years and thus had a long time to develop a well entrenched opinion thereof or ones that made a very strong impression upon on initial viewing, for better or worse. Usually the latter. (see: Tequila Sunrise) ((actually, don't))

I didn't even consider this as an option it is so ludicrous. You do realize we are ranking things that a lot of times we haven't seen since it was in the theater 20 (or more) years ago?

Whereabouts do you place a movie about which you formed no strong/memorable opinion, positive or negative -- middle of the list, bottom of the list, off the list altogether? I'm really asking.

I put them in the list, usually near the bottom. If it's not particularly memorable, it probably didn't hold much appeal for me then and probably would have even less now, so they end up near the "least favorite" end of the spectrum. The very bottom are always the memorably bad ones.
If it's not in the list, it doesn't matter. There would be literally thousands of films every year where I'd go "didn't see, can't form an opinion". Leave them out. If someone asks "how come you never saw ____", answer them. It's a discussion board.

If I can't remember if I saw something then I didn't see it. But that usually doesn't happen in a situation like this where I have time to think about it and/or look it up. Otherwise, there's a lot of ridiculous abstract math involved that no one wants to hear about.

This is a thing you do. Speak for everybody when you're speaking for you. You should work on that. I don't mean this in a "let's online fight and snark!" kind of way; really, your points and arguments would be better if you didn't go to that move.
