This is how I've chosen to spend a lazy Sunday morning. This was hard because even though 1998 contains a few movies I love to pieces, once I got past the cream of the crop, about half the list was interchangeable mediocrities. Trying to figure out which is better, LOST IN SPACE, THE FACULTY or DR. DOLITTLE was rough.

Anyway, feel free to make your own list or just politely ignore my inanity. Here's the reference list I used: http://www.the-numbers.com/movies/index1998.php

-----------------

RUSHMORE
THE BIG LEBOWSKI
LETHAL WEAPON 4
THE TRUMAN SHOW
THE X-FILES: FIGHT THE FUTURE

Yeah, I don't like it. I watched it again last year and I still find it very uninvolving. But remember you're talking to a guy who puts LETHAL WEAPON 4 at #3.

I think DARK CITY got overpraised, but it had some really neat ideas and visuals that would be better realized later on. It is the proto MATRIX, but it is pretty proto.

The art direction is great, and I enjoy the weird Kiefer Sutherland performance, but that's kind of it for me.

Wow, "Very Bad Things" last?  It would probably be in my top 3.  But "Armageddon" would be #1, so what do I know?
