I haven't watched the Simpsons regularly in years.  It's still on the tivo but I usually end up watching only a few a year.  But now my kid is into it so I've seen a bunch this season.  The ones I've seen so far are surprisingly good (compared to the last few years).  They seem to much more "gimmicky" then in the past but it seems like maybe it's the kick in the ass it's needed.

Decent list, I would have swapped some episodes out for others, I think #2 is a bit of a cop out but I understand it and I would not have picked that #1.

Never met the guy, but the Nostalgia critic doesn't seem "horrible" to me at all. He's one of the few online reviewers that doesn't spend 98% of the review focusing on the "character". He actually reviews stuff.

He takes easy shots at crap in a yelling screaming character. No thanks. It's also a rip off of Angry Video Game Nerd, who has been funny in his lifetime.
