Charlize Theron should do Blake.
I love the concept behind the live readings, really I do, but I wish these were full performances. GGR is already a play, why not direct an all-woman cast of that? No Blake, I know, but it would still be interesting.

Great work all around, but Mae Whitman is truly inspired.

I think the trade-off of it not being that is that they get better actors. (Although, admittedly, I don't know if any of these people are *that* busy.)

I saw the somewhat disappointing Broadway revival last month, and the guy who played the office manager was one of the best things about the show, which was surprising given that it's a somewhat thankless part. Pacino (as Levine) was actually my least favorite part of the whole show, as it felt like he was more interested in mugging and talking to the audience rather than to the other actors on stage. John C. McGinley and Richard Schiff as Moss and Aaronow were easily the best part, and their scene together in the first act was insane and hilarious and wonderful. The play is a mean little bastard, but this production never quite took off the way it's supposed to.
As far as the reading goes: God damn I wish I lived in LA.

Remember when Derick said that the "video games" post made him think of Lana Del Ray every time he saw it? This thread for some reason makes me think of Trinidad James when ever I see the post title.

I once started drafting a cleaned-up version of GLENGARRY for my high school drama club to perform. With the actors we had at the time, I still think we would've killed it.
That's all.
