I also wish Anderson would stop killing dogs.

But this lead to one Anderson's best lines ever.

' SR: Had you met Willis before?

BM: I met him at this Andy Garcia movie I did, The Lost City.  Willis is there and he'd had a couple drinks.  We've all had a few drinks.  And he says, "I just want you to know ..."   I'm like, "Oh, fuck."  He says, "I used to work as a page at NBC, and my job was to refill the M&M bowls and the peanut bowls in the actors' dressing room.  And only you and Gilda ever treated me like a human being.  You were nice to me."   And I thought, Whew, that's good.  I felt like, Shit, I did somethin' right, you know? That was an awesome read, but such a bizarre interview at points.  Specifically the tangerelo/avocado bits and the "kids get dress" part.  Oh, and the talk about planes.

"Five on rye" should be the new "Flagpole".

SR: Are you off for a while or do you have more work coming up?

BM: I've been sent a few things I didn't really care about.

I trust we know what one of those things was.

I am convinced he hasn't even bothered to read it. On Howard Stern last year he said, "Yeah, it's over there somewhere. I should read it. I kind of owe them".

I actually know the voice of the Kool-Aid Man, and Bill Murray would *love* that guy.  He just shot a few scenes for my friend's no-budget feature out in LA.

That interview ended like a Wes Anderson scene ends.

Did that interviewer stay the night at Murray's house? It seemed like an unusual setup.

Them french kissing and stuff skeeved me out and then I realized...it...was art?

I felt this a little bit, and she was a bit aggressive and it came off weird watching (especially imagining them filming that in front of a bunch of grown-ups, because it felt *so* intimate, maybe the most intimate scene in any Wes Anderson movie ever), but I thought the rest of the movie was pitch perfect, so I'm willing to forgive that bit as "...interesting?".
