What was weird was when Jonathan Kent handed him the suit, it wasn't the Superman Returns suit, the S was different. And when he was flying around it also wasn't, it was brighter, and had the "S" on the cape.
It was the SUPERMAN RETURNS suit, I think. Same design. Same small little s's all over the shield.
