Scott's a nice guy and shops at the comic store near my house. Before seeing this image, I was just terrified of his talent.

I reviewed the first JLA trade for my podcast. The short and long of it was that neither I nor my co-host were impressed.

I wish they'd waited until after the issue came out to announce it. It would have been a surprise.

Man, they kill Ted Kord, and then introduce Damian, who becomes my new favorite character. And then kill him. Blah. STAY AWAY FROM BOOSTER GOLD AND GUY GARDNER!

Finally a retelling of a comic book origin! Why hasn't anyone done this before?

What are they doing over there?
Trying to sell comics. I don't mind it. Not that I want a comic full of Bruce knitting a costume together, but I wouldn't mind seeing Wayne conceptualizing "The Batman". Other than "His parents were Fart-with-a-beard and then were killed", there's a lot missing about Bruce's life. I'm assuming and hoping that is what the story will be about; Bruce expanding on his inheritance, becoming a mogul, training to be a superhero, but not set as montages. There is great opportunity for great stories in this move.

Expanding on inheritance, and training, don't really make for an interesting comic. I mean, I guess panels of him on a treadmill would be kinda neat.

We'll be eating our words once we see how well they tackle Bruce Wayne facing his first real enemy: The Estate Tax.

Your Michelangelo comic proves otherwise. The flashbacks to Mikey's "training" were some of the most enjoyable parts of the comic.
