At the very least they'll get good PJ and Dixie Chicks tickets when they play Little Rock.

These dudes were totally metal, I hope they were like, "man, it's so nice of all these shitty fucking bands to try and get us out of prison."

I think the Son of Sam law may prevent that.
I'm not sure where I read it, but I'm pretty sure I read this morning that it being an Alford plea negates that law.

They even turned against Metallica when LOAD came out in 1997.

I didn't know that about Jason not wanting to take the deal. You know, I would bet that if all the "evidence" were presented to a grand jury today the guys would never even be indicted. What a joke this plea is.

At the press conference before the hearing today his lawyer mentioned it. Damien thanked him and gave him a hug. It was a nice moment.

Just psychologically; prison for that long, and solitary for that long have got to be crippling. Still, better to be not continuing that awfulness and try to manage to have a life with experiences in it. Enough time has been wasted needlessly for these kids-- now men.

Of course. But there are very difficult challenges. Particularly I think for Jessie.

While I don't agree with their still blaming the WM3, when I was watching the first two movies, I couldn't help but feel bad for the parents of the victims since both movies focus so much more heavily on the gruesome details of the murders and the potential suspects. The fact that at the heart of it is a group of children who were tortured and killed really gets lost among everything else.

I feel very badly for all the parents of course. But it should be noted that parents from the other families (Mark Byers and Pam Hobbs) believe they're innocent.
