Oh, it's funny, I just thought it might also be an inside joke. I didn't think it had really happened, but I could see you and Jordy watching, say, 'Shark Night' and somebody checking their phone and one of you making the joke that that's what was happening. Or, because Adam Scott just came up, maybe 'Piranha 3-D'. For some reason, probably because of the bikini, I assumed that if it were a reference to something, it was a water movie.

Maybe MM week 4 should be about Strang and Dobbin, so more people talk about it.
Hey, next week you dudes vote on who becomes the new regular character in MM. So that's fun, right?

That is awesome. And I think would make a great computer background image!

I loved seeing Ape Dude, but I was so hoping the returning monkey cameo would be Variant. Ladies love the oven mitt. Can't wait to see who the new supporting character options are gonna be! And I didn't catch the Adam Scott reference, but awkwardly, knowing that's who it's referring to, I keep thinking now 'he actually is pretty good in everything else I've seen him in.'
Are we really gonna get to vote on who the new supporting character is? Because that'd be awesome.
Oh, and the 'air conditioned theater' bit made me laugh. Mostly because the majority of this summer, our theater had air conditioning problems in three of our auditoriums. It was not cool.

Variant will return WHEN YOU LEAST EXPECT IT!
Yes, everyone is gonna vote on the new supporting character. And that character will be in the new comic for as long as we have a new comic. Three weeks of auditions, people will post in the comment section on their favorite.

Tomorrow, the first wave of potential new characters goes up! Be careful who you vote for, because we are making them important characters for permanent-like.

Can't wait to see the line-up! And I'll make sure to actually comment this week too.

Aaand voted. I found all the choices hilarious, especially the two opposite actors, but I think it's obvious which one is gonna win.
And holee crap, if you click on the actual strip to make it bigger, it is HUGE!

Yeah, a bit too big, huh? But it really lets you appreciate James' art.
Remember, this is only WEEK 1, so the winner of this week goes up against the next two weeks' characters.

The last time I had this much fun voting on something comics-related, it was as part of Marvel's U-DECIDE! in the long, hot summer of 2002.
Anyway, I voted for Opposite Murray, though I'm hoping that he's a package deal with Opposite Aykroyd.
