It's out tomorrow! I am really, really psyched. Please tell me what you guys thought. I probably won't be able to get it in store tomorrow, so I will live vicariously through you.

I prepaid for a few copies, one for myself, and a few of my friends are going to have a surprise in their folders.
Really looking forward to reading this.

Today's the day!
I wrote a TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES comic! Hooray!
Kevin Eastman sent me an awesome email. He said that Raph is his favorite character so he's extra picky about stories with him, and ours was awesome and wonderful and he loved it. So that was amazing. If Eastman loves it, YOU HAVE TO.
I hope you guys dig it!

Nice, looking forward to it after work! Thats awesome about the Eastman email. You know what he wouldnt have liked, the TMNT "script" i wrote when i was in 4th grade. I think it was all of 4 handwritten pages and the only thing I remember about it was that the turtles were normal kids and would only turn into the turtles when they did a four-way high-five. Yep.

I sold a terrible TMNT rip off in Toymasters in Red Bank called M.U.T.T. I wrote and drew it, printed it at my dad's office on a bad xerox machine, and sold it for a dollar. I DID color each cover by hand with colored pencils, so there's that.

Please tell me you still have at least one copy of that. That would be an amazing extra in the TPB.

RAPHAEL is a delight. Even if you are a little out of the comic book loop, buy this, or you're stupid.
Raphael definitely stays true to Laird and Eastman's character without going overboard with "I'm a loner" stuff. The little comedy there is isn't cartoonish which also fits the character well, but I am hoping Mikey will have a lighter tone to it. The art is excellent, and although I think I know where the story is going I'm sure in for a surprise or two.
Great work by the whole team, and great writing from Brian.

Love it. Love the Casey/Raph dynamic. I love the characters your bring into it and where they are going to go. Makes me want to get the main series. The art is awesome. Love the turtle design. Can't wait for the next one!

There were! Franco had a cover (it's my facebook profile pic) and there was one other one. Thank you for getting them! If I get any extras of the covers you don't have, I'll gladly send them to you.

Had i just opened the cover i'd have seen them all on the next page. I think I should be able to find the Franco one, the last one I think is exlusive to one place.
I loved it! Ive been a big turtles fan since the cartoon when I was a kid. I thought it had a nice blend of action and story. Ive not been reading the regular series and I didnt feel like I was missing out on anything. I liked the interplay between Raph and Casey, and I liked who the two thugs remind you of. I'm really looking forward to the rest of the series. Are they coming out once a month?

Loved! It!
As said before, your Raph/Casey dynamic is perfect. The first page sets the tone so well! Please write the TMNT forever. Thank you.
And coincidentally, the original Donatello (Jack Kirby) mini was one of my first comics as well. After reading it, I hunted down a plastic crystal and tied it to a pencil. Sadly, no drawings came to life.
