Got my first chunk of pages for RAPHAEL from Franco. He's awesome. It's gritty and fun at the same time. Raph looks great, just perfect.
Also, while writing the MICHELANGELO book, I've realized that he is one of the easier characters I've ever written. He's my spirit animal. Not sure what this says about me, but writing this book has been insanely fun. Now I wanna do a MIKEY solo series.

*cough* Monkey Man team up *cough* I mean, for real.... what if MM became the Usagi Yojimbo of this new generation of Turtles. Pitch. It!

having a crossover is a lot easier when a franchise is owned by two dudes. They're now owned by Nickelodeon. Also, people had heard of Yosagi when he appeared with the Turtles.

How much approval does Nick have over your script? Are they involved in the process?

Yeah, they are. They have notes. More than Fox with ANGEL, but I think that's because Joss signed off on my stuff so Fox just left me alone.

Do they add things like "Add more slime and physical challenges. Also, where are the talking babies?"

It's really fun. Franco is amazing. I hope you guys like it. This and MICHELANGELO came out really great. Working on DONATELLO now, LEO wraps things up!

Love it. Franco's Turtle design is pretty great.
