I wish the world knew about this show.

Yeah in a wierd way I want to see Jim turn into a Snookie like celebrity and have his own reality show while doing the talk show circuit.

Not to get wierd but hell Jim brought his little kinks to the light of day so how much weirder can it get. But am I the only one who thinks Jim hasn't had sex (that he hasn't paid for) in a LONG time? Just a vibe I get mixed in with the SM stuff.

I have tried to explain it to people, but I only get as far as, "There's this thing on Youtube and..." and then I realize, no, there's just too much to fill in and I'm all, "No, forget it."

I would talk about it endlessly on Twitter and Facebook and Party Truck but they have been, I think, more mean about my work than anyone ever, so screw'em.  I mean, they put HOP and PUSS IN BOOTS on their worst of 2011 list and it was clear from Jim describing he hadn't seen either.

I think it's cool in a Letterman sort of way to champion/mock people who aren't really your fans. But I would understand not wanting to further any relations with people who seem easily upset and somewhat quick to anger.

Agree with you there, he just get a bit repetitive (for every 1 funny review I put up here, there are 5 or 6 that are super boring and go for 20 minutes).  That said, I am very surprised that someone else hasn't latched onto how terrible these things are.

They're almost at 200 episodes, and I think we're the only people not involved with the show who watch it.  That's amazing dedication to something that nobody is watching, I genuinely admire it.

It's also sort of weird that he doesn't seem to like you, even though you're helping to provide close to 100% of his viewership.

I think the word you're looking for is "awesome," not weird.

I never got his hate for you and your work Brian. I mean I've seen reviews of your comics and movies that were a bit critical but nothing that expressed the kind of disdain Jim has for you. I mean at one point he was reviewing a comic that had nothing to do with you and said something like "it's better written than Brian Lynchs work".

Danny, they seem to average about 50 views per week so maybe we're giving them about 50% of their views. And sorry, I can't really admire them even with 200 episodes because as Brian said the bulk of it is boring and a good amount of the reviews don't even make sense. Didn't he say in this review at one point "The biggest dissapointment in this book is the art....the art was OK"

I wonder what would happen if Jim came upon this board/thread and seeing what half his audience thinks of him?

I think he started talking about me so I'd talk about it after a while.  After the HOP/PUSS IN BOOTS "worst of" thing, however, I just kinda stopped.  It's one thing to badmouth my work if you've read it.  He clearly didn't, he was just being a tool.  I did love that he thought a Geek and Nigel 7 moment in an ANGEL comic was making fun of him personally.

And yeah, for sure he knows about us.  I'm willing to bet we've kept it going on certain weeks.

I think that Jim's dedication in going 200 episodes of  GEEKING OUT is all just an ulterior motive to keep the idea of "Jim & Leela" in Leela's mind. Leela's freshly married mind.

I should point out that I made it a minute and a half in before I fast forwarded to their kooky PROMETHEUS review.
