I very much liked that trailer and would definitely like to see the whole film now as soon as possible.

Good. He's perfect for the role I think they are giving him.

It says in the article that he's not Scotty, but someone else. I hope that's not true.

After he couldn't get Jonah originally, and Sacha Baron Cohen dropped out, it's entirely possible QT just removed the character altogether. He already combined Kurt Russell's and Walton Goggins' parts into one single part when Russell dropped out, so I could see that happening here as well.

That's a big stretch. That character has a pretty pivotal role in setting up Leonardo DiCaprio's character.

Sidebar: Am I reading that article correctly that they have retitled 'Neighborhood Watch' as 'The Watch'? WHEN WILL THE FALLOUT OF TRAYVON MARTIN'S TRAGIC DEATH FINALLY END?!??!

It's pretty ridiculous. Also, THE WATCH looks like a horribly bad ATTACK THE BLOCK and they used Bangarang from Skrillix in an undynamic way in the trailer. The whole thing turns me off.

It's kind of weird/cool that they are acting like people know who the IT Crowd guy is in ads.

That's a terrible alternate title. It sounds like a horror movie about a cursed pocket watch.

I hope he becomes a big star so we can get a Region 1 release of Garth Marenghi and Man to Man. Did anyone watch "Life's Too Short"? How much is Matthew Holness in it?

All I can picture is Walken saying "This *watch*", which I guess makes this post a crossover with that other thread.

Boy, they are really committing to this tagline "The D is Silent" aren't they? http://www.aintitcool.com/node/56967I really want one of those bandana chains or the horse leg chains shirts. Also, THE WATCH looks like a horribly bad ATTACK THE BLOCK
Um.... am I the last person on the planet who didn't know this movie was about an alien invasion!? I saw the trailer before TED and had a near FROM DUSK TILL DAWN moment where I was like "Wait, whaaaaaaaaa-!?"

Boy, they are really committing to this tagline "The D is Silent" aren't they? I can't complain. It's helpful to the less-informed. A similar approach would've helped Gigli.
