I bought Portal 2 when it came out a year ago, but it crashed after chapter six and refused to load again.

I just got a new computer and Portal 2 runs beautifully on it. I've just been playing today and got to chapter 8. It is awesome.

Looking forward to that.

Played Child of Eden yet?

I actually gave my free download to Sadecki, as we end up playing Kinect at his place much more than mine (which is to say, at all).  He downloaded and said it's cool, but I haven't given it a shot yet.

Trials Evolution is amazing, get it immediately.

Gigatrack is insane - best level of any game ever ever ever.

Wasn't sure which thread to put this in, but did anybody play the first episode of THE WALKING DEAD yet? I'm surprised it's out already, I feel like I just heard about it for the first time a month or two ago. IGN gave it a good review, but I don't know that I can justify spending what I assume would be $10-15 on an episode that's only two hours long.

I got FEZ last week. I enjoyed it at first, but now that I'm realizing that it's actually a pretty difficult puzzle game rather than a 3D platformer, I'm losing interest quick.

Walking Dead was released this morning, no?  I heard it's $5 a pop.

Wow, if it's only 5 then I'll definitely check it out. It looked interesting, though the action elements seemed kinda tacked-on.

I just bought Duke Nukem at Target for $15.  I'm thrifty.  Or a sucker.  I can't decide which.

I knew what to expect when I bought Nukem, so I enjoyed it. It is dumb fun.

Well, I just got screwed by GameStop, again.

My motherboard is fried, so no GTASA. Figured I needed a back up copy anyway, so I went to GameStop for a "new copy" for the PS2. $20, for an eight year old game, kinda pricey. But it's in my top five of my favorite games of all time so I picked it up.

When I got back home, my "new" copy didn't have a manual, and the disc inside was from the "Trilogy" release.

Bastards.

Walking Dead did not hit XBLA yesterday, weirdly, but they still say it's happening in April.  The IGN review mentioned the pricepoint, though.

Limbrunner and Dobbin, I played the shit out of Child of Eden on Friday, pretty fucking cool game.

I got Walking Dead on Steam yesterday and played through most of it. It's really fun and well done. I'm a big fan of point-and-click games and games where you spend a lot of time talking though. The XBLA come comes out tomorrow, I think. You should all buy it and talk about it with me.

Some awesome cap screens:

deadendthrills.com

Getting the camera in GTASA turned the game into a photo hunt for me, so I really dig this site.

I'm replaying through PORTAL and PORTAL 2 this weekend. PORTAL I can now do in like a half hour, which is fine, and I think it'll motivate me to play through it like a couple of times a year.

PORTAL 2 is still hard as shit, though.

Finally got that WALKING DEAD game. It's okay so far. I like point and click games, but there was basically nothing to this one. The most in-depth "quest" has been [very minor spoilers]  I'm in a drugstore, a girl tells me she's hungry, so I walk to the shelf that's literally right behind her, grab the granola bar that's literally the only thing on the shelf, and bring it back to her. It's much more of an interactive story than a "game" per se, though I'm interested to play through a second time and see how much the changes in the dialogue really affect the game.
