Even if he were to go against Obama I can't really imagine a scenario by which he would win.  I mean never say never but it seems very unlikely to me.

I think Obama has it in the bag with either of them unless something crazy happens. But something crazy could happen pretty easily with Europe or Iran. And if people lose their minds and vote for whoever isn't Obama I don't want that to be Santorum or really anyone but Romney who is a douche bag, but wouldn't be even half as bad as Bush was. Santorum is like end of days bad.

If Santorum actually wins Ohio my hair will go instagrey.

How much does that actually matter in terms of delegates?

Game Change is hilarious and unwatchable.

I thought it was watchable.  Hilarious, yes.  I love how she just shuts down when she doesn't want to talk.

Maybe unwatchable is too strong, it made me cringe a lot. Its structure is exactly the same as those 80s Stepfather horror movies.

I think it took place in the same world as HBO'S LATE SHIFT. But LATE SHIFT was better.

What I saw of it reminded me of those one page biographical comic strips they sometimes print, where they have to fast forward through every major event, and if it's really important, it will actually get a line of dialogue, usually a catch phrase.

It can't be true that she didn't know the Queen of England is just a figurehead.  Can it?  That's nuts.

Personally, I don't take anything I hear about her level of knowledge/lack thereof off the table.

I just can't imagine it.  As a woman in politics who came of age in the 80's she HAD to have known about Margaret Thatcher.  I mean, if that part of the script is true and Schmidt knew it and kept her on the ticket anyway it's borderline treasonous on his part.

That stuff has been verified by at least Schmidt.

Yeah.  I'm sure a huge chunk of the story came from him and that Nicole lady.

She thought she had foreign policy experience because she can see Russia from her house.  There's no underestimating this woman's intelligence.  Frankly, the scary thing is that it probably wouldn't have mattered as much to the public if she A) wasn't a woman and B) happened to have the misfortune to be running not long after Hurricane Katrina, the one recent disaster which proved most viscerally to the American people why we do not want a mentally incompetent President (or Vice President) who is incapable of even turning on CNN and understanding it.

Look at some of the chuckleheads who were once front-runner for the GOP this year:  Trump, Rick Perry, Herman Cain.  These dudes don't know their ass from a hole in the ground.  It doesn't always matter because a very large part of the GOP's national campaign strategy is to appeal to fear, prejudice and basic ignorance.

As Bill Clinton once so succinctly and beautifully put it:  when people have knowledge, they vote Democrat.

I'm positive all the people you mentioned know that England has a Prime Minister.  I find it very hard to believe she didn't know that.  I mean, Tony Blair was our biggest ally in Iraq.  I can see there being some confusion on her part as to the Queen's role (though that's crazy too) but I can't believe she actually said "So what does England have?"  haha.
