Jessie Ruiz: This better not just be based on the reddit post. That's not reliable, especially since Dan Harmon said not to believe it. Don't play with my emotions!

Six Seasons and A Movie, Dont Cancel Community: I'm basing it on this, even though it isn't very reliable either, it MIGHT be something. - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1439629/board/thread/195035574

rpi2001: Original episodes starting again on 3/15. Yay!

SanctuaryGaltar: Source please?

rpi2001: I work at NBC so I'm your source. The programming change was just announced today. It says original episodes 3/15 - 5/24. 30 Rock will move to 830p.

This-Name-Kills: Where will Parks and Recreation go?

rpi2001: It says to 930p as of 4/19, so it could go on hiatus on 3/15. Not sure about that though.    I actually hadn't heard anything until the schedule booking email came out today and it listed Community.  Technically, this is supposed to be confidential.  Hopefully some official announcement is made soon.  I work in the commercial scheduling department so this is info we're privy to.  Yes, I'm the man!

Even if it's not March 15, it should come back pretty soon. 30 Rock and Up All Night ratings have tanked worse than Community's.

I like that their source is some dude in the IMDb forums who says he works for NBC. Rock solid.

Speaking of COMMUNITY, Giancarlo Esposito is going to be guest-starring on one of these episodes that will air whenever. That's pretty great. I won't even mind if they make it a BREAKING BAD spoof episode about Pierce and Troy selling some specialized energy drink they developed.

I think it has the ring of truth.

Being head of programming at NBC must be a thankless task.  You've chosen and developed the funniest shows on TV but no one watches.

Especially when you're losing to Chuck Lorrie shows night in and night out.

And WHITNEY is the only thing doing well, NBC comedy-wise.

It's doing better than it was, but it's not a success.

Had dinner with the extended family for my sister-in-law's birthday this weekend.  Afterward, she and my brother put on the most recent Whitney and proceeded to loudly talk over the entire episode about how awesome it and New Girl are and how we're missing out if we don't begin DVRing them immediately.  (I already watch New Girl and didn't feel up to discussing the merits of Whitney after a large meal.)  But I have to say, what little of the show I heard during my relatives' infrequent pauses for breath wasn't so bad.   It was some kind of origin flashback and left me actually liking the boyfriend character and at least tolerating Whitney when they were in scenes together.

The promos were so terrible I never bothered to watch it at all.  NEW GIRL isn't that bad though.

No, but it is gaining ground. And is terrible.

But as a result, Parks & Rec is off the air until April.

Yay, but also boo.
