I think he was the only one who did the Turtle voice for all 3 movies. Maybe Leonardo too?

http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=88213"Fans need to take a breath, and chill. They have not read the script. Our team is working closely with one of the original creators of Ninja Turtles to help expand and give a more complex back story. Relax, we are including everything that made you become fans in the first place. We are just building a richer world." -Michael Bay

Fans have not read the script, that's true. But Michael Bay, presumably, has - and Michael Bay said that they were aliens, and that's the concept that people are objecting to.

Maybe he meant that they're regular turtles from outer space who come to earth and then get mutant ooze spilled on them.

That and for when people aren't happy that JGL is playing a young Bruce Willis.

And Battlestar Galatica
What was funny about him being on Galactica 1980 was that he was only in the first episode, looking exactly like Cousin Oliver. The rest of it he's played by a drastically different looking actor with a British accent.

I totally get why people are so upset, it would be totally unrealistic if they were aliens instead of just regular sewer turtles and rats grown to super-size and somehow, human vocal cords and martial arts abilities by the magic ooze.
In short, aliens crazy, magic ooze awesome.

How dare Michael Bay keep bastardising the 30 minute toy adverts of our childhood? Who does he think he is?!? Seriously, the best Turtles movie that could ever be made was this Although, I do wish they'd let the 87 Turtles retain some of their own personalities rather than just giving them all whacky, goofball personalities.

The issue is more "why, when retelling a story with beloved characters that relies on the goodwill of an early 30-something crowd's newfound sense of childhood nostalgia (the Turtles, as a beloved set of ideas, belong more to people who were little kids in the 90s than to aging nerds like me, who had the black and white comics), would you needlessly change a core element of the origin, if that audience-- and the kids THEY have, that they want to introduce to their childhood things-- is gonna not like it?" I mean, is it IMPORTANT if a guy who flies around and has heat vision is from a planet named Krypton or not? Isn't it just as unlikely that he found a magic cape? Or was bitten by a radioactive monkey?
