Was the last season notably different? I don't really remember it very well, but I thought the show remained business as usual to the very end. How did they integrate Rudd toward the end? Was he basically the seventh Friend or did he just pop by here and there? I think the reruns are getting near the last season, so I should rewatch it. I kind of only remember the broad strokes of FRIENDS.

Rudd played Phoebe's special man-friend.  He wasn't in all that many episodes, and oddly, I don't remember him being terribly funny (except for the one about Princess Consuela Bananahammock).  But if you are a Rudd completist, it might be worth watching.

I've actually seen every episode of the show, but not since they first aired. Phoebe marrying Rudd would seem to be a huge change to the dynamic, but I don't recall how that played out. But I just looked it up and she got married just a few episodes before the series finale, so I probably don't remember because there wasn't enough time for any real change to be observed. I thought she married him in the second-to-last season for some reason.

Huh. I had no idea Pearl Jam's music was featured in Friends.

I don't know where you're going with this, so I'm going to assume you're giving Dalton the business.

Without a doubt John already knows about this.

In a sense, it almost got more realistic. I imagine if I was in my late 30's and still exclusively hanging out with the same five people I had since high school or earlier, I'd probably not be overly cordial towards them.

HEY NOW. They were in their early 30s.
