Maybe a throwaway line or two, but since you're trying to start anew and attract fresh viewers, you might wanna shy away from doing it.

I really don't remember, but I do remember it being a great epsiode.

Monkey Man definitely.  And I would not be opposed to Monkey Boy one bit.

Absolutely!  It's been said a lot, but I'd like an Angry Naked World type show that would allow all of your creations to pop up occasionally on the show.

I wouldn't start the continuity completely fresh.  Little references and what not to the past would be a nice little kick for those of us who were around for them.

As far as Monkey Man/the Most it's one of those things that would be really fun to see eventually, but maybe not right off the right.  Get the solid ground of Pat and work them into his world.  I really wanna see his reaction to Block Party.  And I love the laugh track in Dude, personally.  In fact it's my favorite of the old Pat toons.

I say start fresh. 2010 with its Funny-or-Dies and its Youtubes and videos-on-phones and whatnot presents a much bigger pool of people. Let them get in on the ground level. The old ones are still available and should be presented as bonus stuff, to go look at once they've seen the new ones, I think, but it would make sense to have it be as immediately accessible as possible.

I could do without it.

I think SHORT BUS. I just re-watched it and I had forgotten that I was one of the voices. I was like, "Hey, that kid in the He-Man bracer sounds like a voice I do." Then I was like, "Oh."

Provided they get reboot-origin'ed in. I'd like a kind of cuter, less feral Monkey-Man.

I think that it is enough of a leap to (re)introduce the main cast and establish them. If so, I would think later on down the line.

Loads, off the top of my head Guy Who Loves his own Ass, but i dont know how he can work animated, Bi-Polar Bear, I'd love to see Ape Dude make an appearance at one point if you decide to include Monkey Man

This is a tough one, I really want to see Monkey Man and Monkey Boy back, but I agree with Josh that I like the way they evolved in the strips better than the way they were in the original animated series. So I guess that pushes me to the reboot category.

I thought it worked for that episode, but I dont think I would like it there for every episode, unless you guys were going for a mock 3 camera sticom vibe.
5. Favorite episode of the original ANP cartoons? Its hard to pick my favorite, because i love them all, however whenever i am showing them to someone I always show them Every Which Wayans first

OH GOD YES. They dont need to be in EVERY episode, but I would like to see them as reoccuring characters

Maybe they could cross over at one point. I'd like to see them interact with the Pat characters. But I think of them as seperate, like Patchouli

Passing references, sure.  But I wouldn't be a slave to continuity.  Let the new show develop however it does.

Absolutely.  However, I think it'd be better if they were somewhat out-of-continuity.  I like the idea of some central hub for various universes.  Like Mickey's House of Mouse, for example.  A place where characters interact and stories intersect, but only there.

Probably is Dude, Where's Mein Kampf actually. That one stuck with me anyway.

They didn't really work for me the first time around but I love them in the comics. I say have them back but redesigned. Also what happened with Monkeyman 2D? Or Joey Mason in general? I loved Gun Fu but I don't think I've seen anything by him since...

  Yeah maybe do a slight refrence as a nice wink to the ones who watched the original and also it might get others who are new to ANP to watch the old ones.

 Prinze and Kampf were equally as funny to me.

  YES! YES! YES! I so want to see them in these new cartoons but Monkey Man is probably my favorite of all your characters.

 I'm thinking for now, keep your new strip seperate and wait for it to get popular then down the line do a nice cross-over cartoon. Maybe do a big event like cartoon with ALL your characters coming together in a two part cartoon, that would be great.

  Good luck with the cartoon, really looking foward to it and I'm sure whatever you come up with will be really good. But please definitly get Kevin in there more, we all seem to like Kevin.

Any and all.... What I think would be cool is, since you slipped Geek and Nigel 7 in both Asylum and After the Fall, and sorta Monkey Man in Shadow Puppets- It would be cool if you could throw a Beta George reference in here.

Start fresh, but there's nothing wrong with quick visual references. First thing that comes to mind is being able to see the edge of a gaping hole in the floor under the couch.

4. Did you like the laugh track in DUDE, WHERE'S MEIN KAMPF?

For that episode, yes very much. The canned laugh works great in the straightforward send-ups to sitcoms, but I'd say just keep it in that kind of episode. I also loved the 'Previously On' opening to the second part of Mein Kampf made up of nothing but clips that gave no insight to the plot.

5. Favorite episode of the original ANP cartoons?

Probably Mein Kampf or the Wayanses but I loved all of them.

6. Monkey Man/Monkey Boy in ANP cartoons...yay or nay?

Definitely yay, but I'd say go with a style more akin to the Poopshoot comics. I prefer my superpowered blue monkey as cute and cuddly over huge and beastly.

7. THE MOST characters in ANP cartoons...yay or nay?

I think we need to have The Most as its own thing for a little while first. But I'd say  seeing Block Party cameo in the future could be great.

I'm curious about the voicework in the new cartoon- All new voices or are there any familiar faces?
