Sounds like SWS is in. Which means I'm in. Also, Kevin Smith is apparently writing his hockey movie with him in mind.

Wow, that's perfect - I could totally see him doing that.

What about the article linked to that story "Ian McShane to Play Black Beard in New Pirates of the Carribean" This thread is full of awesome.

I know it's the nature of the internet, but man, that article sounded really bitchy to me.

Which one?  They both seemed quite straightforward to me.

My two questions are if it's set in 2009 and if the actress who played Jim's Mom tried to squeeze too much cash out of them.

Nah, they probably just wanted Eugene Levy to have something to do. But it is weird. Not as weird as Stiffler now working in an office though.

That was kind of cool. Did Jim's Dad being single now have anything to do with his American Pie Presents hijinks? Because I want everything to be canon.

Was the mom even mentioned in the DTV movies? Surely one of you characters watched them. I always wondered why Jim's Dad was supposed to be getting into shenanigans with a bunch of kids he had no actual connection to in those movies, and being a lonely widower (divorcee?) would kind of explain it.

Who's the blonde girl that they are touting as a returning character and why don't I remember her?

Unless she had a 1-sec shot that I missed, I didn't see Natasha Lyonne at all.  Not that her character was all that important, but back when the first one came out, I think she was one of the more well-known members of the ensemble.

I'm actually really looking forward to this.  It's coming out right around the same time as my 20yr Grade School class reunion (20 years, yeesh!).  I wonder if we'll finally get an explanation about why Oz missed out on Jim's wedding.
