All around pretty terrible this year. My favorite is the one with the Mom bragging about not getting an abortion since her kid grew up to be a decent college football player. What a relief! No abortions for me.

Here's all the ads.

The google ad was well done. The only other commercial that I've seen that was even close to being good is the Betty White one. And that just gets points for good casting.

I agree.  Maybe no such a great "Superbowl" ad but a great concept very well executed.

It seemed like the running theme was "great* set up" with no "punch line"

*great being a bit of an overstatement.

I'm going to end up getting a Dodge just because Michael C. Hall keeps telling us we need one.

Yeah. It's not as bad as I was expecting based on the commercial. It made me laugh a few times. Chase still has his Clark chops. There's some bad stuff like the grown up Rusty, he's wearing a bad wig for some reason and is just all together a weird choice for Rusty. But it was cool seeing Chase and D'Angelo together again.

That Google commercial tugged at the ol' heart strings.

Thought they were all forgettable.
I'll also be the guy who says, "Commercial breaks during the Super Bowl are for eating, getting another beer, and going to the bathroom".

Most likely my favorite Super Bowl commercial of all time (sorry Doritos girl) :

I was offended by the "Who is Truffaut?"  From that point on, it lost me.

How many French girls have you married, knowing who Truffaut is?

I liked the Simpsons Coke spot, if only because it's a perfect encapsulation of The Simpsons at the moment: Kinda okay premise, one pretty funny gag (Mr. Burns selling Smithers), and it looks too fancy.

What really bugged me was the fact that none of the principal cast members were actually in it. The only people who had lines at all were Maurice LaMarche, who's only barely connected to the Simpsons, and Pamela Hayden doing Milhouse for a few seconds at the end. I guess Fox had no desire to pay the voice actors any more than they had to for the season, given that they're always so cranky about paying them a decent amount of money in the first place.

Granted, I might also have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about.
