The ratings are in for both RAW and Impact, TNA Impact drew a 1.5 overall rating which is 2.2 million viewers. Impact peaked with 2.9 million viwers for the Hogan segment. Both the overall and peak ratings are records for TNA and hopefully this leads to TNA moving Impact to Monday nights permantly. RAW drew 5.6 million viewers which is their biggest rating since August after SummerSlam, while thats a great number I honestly thought they would do better with Bret. Everybody wins though, RAW wins the night which was expected but TNA got a record high. If your in the mood after all the Bret/Shawn stuff heres a link to the full movie Wrestling with Shadows: http://www.411mania.com/wrestling/news/125877/[VIDEO]-Watch-The-Complete-Hitman-Hart:-Wrestling-With-Shadows-Documentary-Here!.htm

Really? NWO? That is sad. WWE wins automatically on that one. Talk about beating a dead horse.
Man do I miss Cactus Jack, Terry Funk, Tommy Dreamer, Raven and Taz. When ECW died so did my love of wrestling. I remember calling my cousin up the first time I saw The Sandman on channel 48. I was so enthralled. Watching WWE now just makes me embarrassed.

It looks like we are going to get another Monday night of WWE vs TNA, Monday March 1st TNA will air Impact against RAW. I'm hoping this is heading in the direction of a permanent time slot change for TNA as competition seems to bring out the best in the wrestling buisness.
Also next Monday Bret Hart is going to be back on RAW which should be great and roll this fued along with Vince.
Sunday is the Royal Rumble which is probably my favorite PPV as I love the Rumble match itself, probably 1992 is my favorite Rumble. Undertaker vs Rey should be a good match while Sheamus vs Ortron should be crap. But so far the Rumble match has some pretty good wrestlers and it really isn't clear on who will win. Heres the list so far:
Cody Rhodes, Ted Dibiase, Mark Henry, Evan Bourne, Chris Jericho, CM Punk, John Cena, Jack Swagger, Santino, MVP, Miz, HBK, Big Show, HHH, Carlito, Kofi, Shelton Benjamin, Yoshi Tatsu, William Regal, Zach Ryder, The Hurricane, Batista, Khali and Kane.
Thats 24 so there are 6 more, probably a few mid carders and a couple of suprises and/or older wrestlers.

March 1st RAW guest hosts are Cheech and Chong.
There's nothing TNA can throw up against that to get me to switch channels.

I thought Sting said he'd never go up into the rafters again?

Yeah Sting said that but Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff and Vince Russo bring out the worst in people, even Christians.
While Cheech and Chong on RAW sounds intresting (how will they pass the Wellness Program?) there have been rumors of moving Steve Austins guest spot to March 1st. The first time Bret and now Austin, it seems like WWE is trying to kill TNA off quickly.
Hayner, have you actually seen that movie? It is such a horribly funny movie, the interview scene where the reporter is scared of Sting and the climax where Sting has that fucked up dream are really messed up. If your intrested I believe that movie is still on Netflix Instant, definitly worth a look but not for the right reasons.

I see nothing in this whole thread about Shawn Spencer and Bruton Gaster. Fix that.

I don't know whether it's true or not but supposedly CM Punk, of all people, was the one that bailed them out. If it turns out he did it in character, he's officially my favourite person ever.

ROYAL RUMBLE SPOILERS
The Rumble was actually a damn good PPV, yeah a couple of matches were just OK and Randy Orton vs Sheamus was horrible but all that was made up with the World Title match and the Rumble itself. Undertaker vs Rey was excellant, 4 1/2 stars, great story there going with plucky underdog going after monster and just barely losing. Sting vs Vader did this better but this was close, if you have a chancxe watch Sting/Vader to see how close this match followed it. The Rumble match was one of the best I've seen although doesn't beat out 1992. It was fun, had the main event guys spread out, a bunch of great storylines going on, a suprise entrant and a suprise win. Edge coming back was very cool and he got a pretty big pop, he didn't look half bad either. Shawn first superkicking HHH out of the Rumble out of nowhere was great and then making it to the final four and losing plus his reaction afterwards were nice touches to his Undertaker storyline. Then Edge actually winning it was a pretty big shock and was a perfect win and ending. 5 Stars easy, if you haven't seen it I definitly suggest watching it just fast foward to UT vs Rey.
RAW was decent with some good Elimination Chamber qualifying matches and the ending segment was cool with Batista coming out to help Vince beat up Bret. It definitly moves the fued into a decent direction, still hoping it gets better as weeks go on. So at WrestleMania we have multiple ways to go with this storyline, not sure what match they'll go with:
A: Bret vs Vince in one match and Cena vs Batista in another
B: Cena with Bret in his corner vs Batista with Vince in his corner
C: Tag match Cena and Bret vs Batista and Vince
I guesse it all depends on how much Bret thinks he can do in the ring, I am hoping for option A but I can live with the other two.I doubt it but I'm kinda hoping Bret sticks around after WrestleMania and play some kind of General Manager for RAW. The two Elimination Chamber matches don't look half bad and can lead to some good WrestleMania matches:
RAW Elimination Chamber for WWE Title: Sheamus(C) vs HHH vs Randy Orton vs Ted Dibiase vs Kofi Kingston vs John Cena
SD Elimination Chamber for World Title: Undetaker(C) vs John Morrison vs Rey vs Chris Jericho vs CM Punk vs R-Truth
I'm also guessing at the PPV it will be Batista vs Shawn Michaels, not sure though. Speaking of the Elimination Chamber I kinda wish they would either replace it with the old school WarGames match. I used to LOVE that match ev ery year, even if the card look shitty (and in WCW in sometimes did) I always ordered the PPV it was on. Do any of you guys remember the WarGames match or even better ever watch the old school NWA ones?
Also what do you guys think is going to be the card for WrestleMania, I think its gonna be something like this:
World Title: Chris Jericho(C) vs Edge
WWE Title: A) Sheamus(C) vs HHH B) HHH(C) vs HBK
A) Undetaker vs HBK B) Undetaker vs Sheamus
Some mixture of Bret,Vince,Cena and Batista
Randy Orton vs Ted Dibiase Jr. OR my theory Triple Threat Tag Match: Randy Orton & Bob Orton vs Cody Rhodes & Dusty Rhodes vs Ted Dibiase Jr & Ted Dibiase Sr. That would be a fun match.
Money in the Bank: Shelton Benjamin vs CM Punk vs Matt Hardy vs Christian vs The Miz vs MVP vs John Morrison vs Kofi Kingston vs R-Truth. They go with THAT lineup we'll get a GREAT high flying spot fest.
Not sure what else but it'll take shape as we get closer, I'm actually really looking foward to WrestleMania this year. The storylines seem solid and the matches they are leading to look really good. I don't like to wish misfortune on people but I kinda want Sheamus to get a minor injury soon so he isn't in any of the matches at all. The guy is way too green and is horrible at wrestling and talking.

So it looks like this Monday coming up we will have the Monday Night Wars again, while I don't think its going to get as heated as WWF vs WCW it should be interesting. It'll also be nice to have some competition, that seems to always make the wrestling buisness so much better. The rumors are that RVD signed with TNA and might go right into a fued with Sting, that sounds great actually as I like RVD, he should be a good fit for TNA. The main events for both Impact and RAW have been announced: Impact is going with Hogan & Abyss vs Flair & AJ Styles and RAW is going with Vince McMahon vs John Cena. Not sure either match really blows me away but we'll see although its funny, Hogan said he wasn't going to wrestle in TNA yet here he is in a match. WrestleMania is starting to shape up now with most matches announced and a few all but announced, I gotta say its looking really good and should be a hell of a show. World Title Match: Chris Jericho(C) vs Edge WWE Title Match: Batista(C) vs John Cena Career vs Streak: Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker Tag Team Title Match: The Miz and Big Show(C) vs John Morrison and R-Truth Bret Hart vs Vince McMahon Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Christian vs Dolph Ziggler vs Kane vs Shelton Benjamin vs Jack Swagger vs MVP vs Matt Hardy vs Those matches are definite, these just need to be booked: HHH vs Sheamus Rey Mysterio vs CM Punk A match involving Randy Orton, Ted Dibiase Jr and Cody Rhodes That is one of the better WrestleMania line ups in the past few years and Undertaker vs Shawn 2 has been set up great with the career vs streak angle and Shawn doing anything to get the rematch, last years match stole the show and is a 5 star classic easy. Watch this video hyping the match and fued, its really good: Raw 22.02.2010 - Shawn Michaels Vs Undertaker - Wrestlemania 26 Promo and if your intrested the Undertaker accepting Shawns challenge which is a real good back and forth between the two: WWE RAW 02/22/10: Shawn Michaels & Undertaker career vs streak match on Wrestlemania 26

According to reports, the last segment (featuring Hogan, Abyss, Flair, and AJ, who are main eventing Monday's show) got the lowest rating of the entire show, bottoming out at a 0.93 rating. Not a good sign.

well, obviously people the world over are clamoring to see Hulk Hogan (Who himself has said he has trouble simply moving around, let alone wrestling) stepping back into the ring on Monday.
