Apparently it's from Reborn: Stage One from April 2004, which I now realise I've seen before as an extra on the CM Punk DVD that mostly covers his FIP / IWA Mid South career. I don't remember it being anything too special (or at least not nearly as good as you might expect). Also, Ricky Steamboat was the special guest ref for some reason.

I don't think I've seen that match. I wish from what you remember it was a better match I'm sure it'll still be a decent one. I actually saw a Punk vs Danielson match live when I used to go to FIP shows all the time. It was a 2 out of 3 falls match and it was pretty good.hopefully they get time at Over the Limit to put on a great match. I could care less about Johnny Ace vs John Cena though. The four way could be good. Have they even announced any other matches? It's almost a week away, lazy WWE.

In three days though ROH has a decent PPV I might order to see Steen vs Richards for the ROH Title. It would be nice to see Steen win it though.

It's been a while since I watched it, so I'll be checking it later on - I wonder if they're doing it as a test run to make sure the site can handle streaming video to a lot of viewers at once, given that they're doing it themselves now rather than through GoFightLive? I say that with no technical knowledge whatsoever, but I'm guessing they want to make sure they don't have another iPPV fuck-up on the same level as the Wrestlemania weekend shows. I'm really excited for Steen / Richards so I hope it all goes smoothly.

Selfishly, I hope the Border Wars title match has a screwjob finish or something, just because I'm going to Best in the World in June and I'd love to see Steen win the belt live.

Well if they were doing it as a test for the iPPV on their site it failed. Because of the high demand/traffic it ran slow or not at all for a lot of people. They are making good on the mistake though by having the video play through the weekend now. So if anybody's interested here: http://www.rohwrestling.com/content/free-video-cm-punk-vs-bryan-danielson

It doesn't give me a lot of confidence on how well the Border Wars PPV will run now though. Hopefully they can fix the bugs because ROH can not afford to lose fans/money right now. As for the PPV itself, I'm into it myself especially for the main event but Strong vs Finley sounds good.

On the subject of Over the Limit, I know this may sound stupid but Vince has done shit like this before. Could he be putting together an intentionally crappy card headlined by Punk/Danielson to prove neither are a draw? I know it sounds silly but Vince has thrown money down the drain just to prove a point (see WCW Invasion). Because I can't see this PPV doing any kind of decent butyrate and if/when the butyrate comes back as low I think Punk and Danielson are going to be blamed.

John Cena filed for divorce from his wife: http://www.411mania.com/wrestling/news/237668/John-Cena-Files-For-Divorce.htm

That's actually kinda sad, as much as I'm not a fan of the Cena character I think he's a great guy. Apparently his wife has hired the same lawyer Linda Hogan hired so this might get nasty.

There's a lot of rumors about Cena's habits on the road, away from the Mrs.

Even though there's a pre-nup, she's probably getting a LOT of money.

LOL, that was pretty funny. But yeah, I was thinking the divorce stemmed from cheating as they've only been married like three years. It seems a good amount of wrestlers cheat while on the road which is rather sad. Apparently Cena is worth $18 million, not sure how much she will get since there's a pre nup. But she has a pretty ruthless lawyer so who knows, I'm going to guess she is going to get a nice chunk of money though. It would be pretty funny if during the mediation Cena cuts a promo on how he will overcome all odds and then calls the lawyer poopy.

Just found out that when John Cena and his wife were engaged he slept with Mickie James. So this marriage seemed doomed before it began. The sad thing is right after Cena got married Mickie was fired from the WWE. That seems to happen a lot though in the WWE.

I read that as "...she slept with Mickie James."  Which sent me a-googling quite swiftly.

Well, I'm going to Border Wars this weekend and I say nuts to you.

Look for me in the crowd; I'll be the one trying to figure out how it was decided this would be my bachelor party.

First off Congrats on the marriage. Second off I have to question you're decision, instead of watching half naked women you chose to watch half naked men? Just kidding man, I'm sure you're going to have fun and that's all that matters. I do wish ROH came down to Florida more often though. I just looked at the updated whole card and it looks pretty cool, Lance Storm wrestling again is a must see.

I'll do my best, in between bitching on Twitter about the stream crashing. Just joking, ROH! Except probably not.

How did I not know this!? Dude is without a doubt, my favorite wrestler of all time (in so far as naming my band The Impact Players).
