Very strange.  Great choice of director though.

There are a handful of movies coming out in the next 3 years with my name on it.  I hope this is one of the good ones.

Congratulations. Wow, it's been so long that I'd completely forgotten about NIGHTCRAWLERS. Glad to see it come back around. Hope they didn't futz with it too much.

Oh they did.  I think it's a whole other monster, literally and figuratively.  But Mitchell is wonderful, so I have hopes that it will be great.

Wow.  Are the other things with your name on them coming out closer to what you wanted/hoped?

Cool, ive been looking forward to NIGHTCRAWLERS since you first started talking about it. Hopefully they do it justice.

So I'm guessing that when they say "Not a remake" they mean, "We're calling it MONSTER SQUAD and adding the Universal monsters instead of dark dweller dudes".

Awesome!!

My first response was, "Oh, that's cool!  I have a like-as-an-old-friend-rather-than-flat-out-love relationship with MONSTER SQUAD, but this is nifty, geek-out-worthy news!"

And then I actually read the linked article and I thought, "Oh, AWESOME!!"

If this works out, could there every possibly be a movie of EVERYBODY'S DEAD or was that put to rest with the comic?

EVERYBODY'S DEAD is most definitely dead.
I'm betting this movie will be nothing like my NIGHTCRAWLERS.

This is the most depressing post ever.

EVERYBODY'S DEAD is most definitely dead.

Is there no shot that ZOMBIELAND being a hit might revive it? That was my hope.
