Ed Helms as Clark would be fun.
I would just love to see Anthony Michael Hall be awesome in a comedy again.
Poor John Hughes. They really didn't wait long.

I'm on team Embry as well.
And, the most hated of the vacation movies? As far as i knew Vegas had attained cult like status in recent years. Besides the first, it's actually my favorite.
and Embry, if only to get a Nick Pappageorgio call-back.

I bet they could get Eric Idle back very easily.
I heard Idle will come to your house and sing "bright side of life" if you give him a check for 20 dollars, a slice of pizza and an awkwardly long hug.

I don't hate it, but come on. Of course it's your second favorite. I was unaware of the cult status it had attained, as far as you knew. Oddly, the most successful Rusty is Marc 3 Rusty, from CHRISTMAS VACATION, maybe they'll go with him.

as long as they can visit Cousin Eddie in jail, any choice is really fine with me.

They should have Chevy and Beverly be the leads. Kids, grandkids in tow.

They're going to cast the Rusty from the most hated of VACATION movies? Check.
I want Hall, but if it's not him, I'd assume they'll cast a name.
But I do love Embry, in just about everything.
No, i would never think for a minute that they would cast him. I would just like love it if they did.

Christmas Vacation is definitely the better movie, but... after the original Vegas is the one I find myself watching the most.

I think Anthony Michael Hall would work MUCH better in this context then as the lead "Clark" type character. Damn you Brian, now I want to see THIS movie. Maybe if "Community" becomes a big hit we could see this.

I didn't say this because I knew Jew Askew would for me. Not that it's any favorite, but underrated I think.

The low-grade casino (with "Guess which hand?") is the only good part of Vegas.

And "Guess what number I'm thinking" with Wallace Shawn.
I had never seen that movie and flipped past it and stopped on that scene, and, just for a little while, I thought maybe the whole movie was an undiscovered gem.
It isn't, but that scene is one of the best things in the whole franchise.

I don't think "guess what I'm thinking" was with Wallace Shawn. He was in the good casino, wasn't he?

Wallace Shawn is a black jack dealer whom Chevy Chase cannot win against.

Ah, I bet I started on Wallace Shawn, and that's why the next thing I saw was the bad casino, you're right.
