It's nice that everyone who didn't get along is now dead. This show needed less friction.

I'm sure they'll keep the destroy the brain, destroy the zombie result. Dale won't come back because he was shot in the head by Daryl. I just wish they would have left out the Clockwork Orange zombie conditioning stuff. It was campy and lame. Would have been much better if Shane had just popped up and the viewers didn't spot him until he was headshot by Carl. That way you thought Carl really was pulling the gun on his dad.

I know, I know. Where does logic and good story telling elements enter into the Walking Dead?

I don't know why they're bothering to devote an entire special feature to "Shane's Last Day" on the DVD/Blu-ray release. All things considered, it sounds like "Dale's Last Day" would probably be way more interesting.

I think, if they're doing the specific storyline that is rumored, the show is gonna become a whole other thing.

Are you talking about the casting announcement that was made like a week ago? Maybe a week and a half?

Yes, that's what I'm talking about.  The storyline in the comic was gripping, and epic.  But also disturbing.  There was a specific issue that was my least favorite issue of any comic ever.  I doubt they'll be able to do that though.

Also, if they're gonna do THAT storyline, they need to introduce a specific good guy ASAP.  Maybe end of next episode?

If I don't see two armless, jawless zombies on a leash before the end of next season, I'm gonna cry.

Wouldn't we have heard the casting by now?

Yes, unless it was a surprise at the last minute.

That's putting a lot of faith in this show; they couldn't even keep the ending of this episode off their website!  But I hope they get to [that character].  I was just thinking last night that they need [pronoun] to show up.

I guess this is a spoiler question, but in the comic book, do we ever see the black guy and his son again? Or are they even in the comic?

To be fair, I didn't see anything about Dale's death.
