I just don't find it interesting at all. The first two Internet leaked movies that I really remember were LOTR:Fellowship of the Ring, and Revenge of the Sith. I could be wrong, but I remember LOTR being leaked a few weeks before the release, and ROTS being leaked days before the theatrical release. I find both films, and the fact that they were leaked, far more interesting than Wolverine.
Add that to the fact that Friedman pulled a boner, I think you guys are beating a dead horse.

If they did they weren't nearly as widely distributed or downloaded as WOLVERINE was.

Maybe you guys aren't as nerdy as me and my friends, but they both were leaked. The copies I saw were even on DVD, complete with "fake" menus. Not my fault that at the time some people were out of the loop.

*edit*- Re-reading Dalton's post, I see what he is getting at, but at the same time, it's somewhat of a who-you-know situation as far as finding leaked movies. I'd never want to be the ANP thread police, but really, Wolverine?

I remember SPIDER-MAN leaking early by a day or two (though being on 56K and being unable to download it) and ATTACK OF THE CLONES being available a full two weeks early.

The finished version of MAMMA MIA was on the web three or four weeks before release, luckily the film's audience doesn't really download movies.  Except for me.  But I didn't.  I was brave and strong.

Were these cams? Or high-quality workprints like Wolverine? Former, right?

No cams.
LOTR was finished, and beautiful.
ROTS, had some unfinished cgi, but looked great.

I remember SPIDER-MAN being a shitty cam and ATTACK OF THE CLONES being a step above a cam, but nothing as good as the WOLVERINE workprint.

I still remember how shocking it was when the script for Scream 2 (minus the ending) leaked onto the web. Things were so much simpler then.
