I thought Marino was great in it, but it's pretty bland.

I liked the amount of heart in the project.

It's always nice to see Lauren Ambrose in something.

Yay for THE BAXTER. Gets better with each viewing.
Also, for obscure State projects, I go BIG HELIUM DOG.

Hey Brian, did you read How to Make Movies for Fun and Profit? What did you think of it?

THE BAXTER is great. I don't think it's any more fair to compare that movie to Diggers as it is to compare either one to Wet Hot... They're all trying to achieve wildly different things.

The Baxter is the only movie in which I've found Michelle Williams attractive. I didn't even realize it was that Michelle Williams until the third or fourth time I saw it.

Oh, I can definitely tell why she would have beauty in the eye of the average beholder. She just doesn't do anything for me personally as a blonde. Plus I have a weak spot for cute, quirky types like her Baxter character.

You lost me there.
Sorry for the late response, but I meant that Elizabeth Banks had tweeted about Busy Philipps sitting in for Banks as her character from the film "Lindsay" (not "Beth" as I said above, which was what may have been confusing -- sorry about that) rather than Janeane Garofalo as mentioned in the article you posted.
