Sherri Shepherd. She doesn't believe in evolution and isn't willing to discount the idea that the world may be flat.

Well, she didn't know the world whether or not the world was flat at the time.  She knows now.

Just thinking out loud here...but what does it say about our country that this is the third consecutive election where the country is so divided?  I remember elections that had clear winners...was that a rare thing? or are these close calls more common?  My knowledge of American history isn't as strong as it should be.

Does that mean at the end he'll become a villain?

Guys: I know it is uncool to be earnest in this context or forum, but we're living through and making history tonight. And not war-history or trauma-history.

Triumph-history. History of rationality and intelligence winning out over ignorance, fear and backwardness. Moon landing style history.

Your future-daughters' rights over their own bodies won tonight. Science, reason, and hope won out over pettiness, division, superstition and fear. And it is winning big.

There's no need to somehow try to find a snarky clever thing or see a thread of "but how terrible is it that..." come in.

This is a big deal.
