A short story I wrote made it into an upstart literary journal called "The Stone."  It's only available through Kindle but it looks like you can download the Kindle app onto your regular PC or laptop and still be able to view it.  Here's the link for the journal:

The story of mine that made it in is called "The Ringing," which is my own modernization of "The Tell-Tale Heart."  There're three other stories in the journal and they're all very good.  Here's the link to download the app (if you're interested, that is):

Check it out!

A book we put out on our own received a very nice review at The Huffington Post a couple of days ago, so that was exciting.

All three of my self-published novels---"Under the Bridge," "The Great Northeast," and "October and Everything After"---are available for download on the Barnes & Noble Nook tablet.  It's not compatible with Kindle, though.  However, if you have an iPad, you can download them from lulu.com (the self-publisher).

I set myself some goals for this year.  Namely to work on the website ideas I have more.  I decided on that because The Consumerist did a small writeup on TastyLies.com (The website I've been doing a year and a half that reviews frozen meals and fast food).  It boosted traffic a LOT for a few days, and traffic has seemingly settled in to about twice what is was prior.  So I've been working on that (Working on a minor facelift of the site and a new/REAL logo that someone did for me).  Also working on the sequel review website, BadSequels.com.  I kinda' forgot about that for the latter half of last year and enough is enough.

Did you work on your SEO recently, or did the boost in traffic help increase your visibility with google? Either way you have the third response for a google query of "frozen food review". Pretty awesome.

Really awesome. Whoever wrote the script/code must have put all the right tags in the right place, or you have enough "linked ins" to get you to the top 3 query results. I would recommend putting "frozen food reviews" and "fast food reviews" links that simply link to your homepage at the bottom on every page on your site. When the Google spiders crawl, they'll notice this and your relevance, and I'm pretty sure you can grab the number one result from a query if that is something you'd be interested in.

But yeah, that's really awesome that your site pops up not only in the first page, but in the first three suggestions. Keep on tagging.

If I'm getting moved to another cinema, the least they can let me do is have a fun last night of it. Normally I make posters for these sort of things, but I thought this time, why not make a trailer?

I wanna come!!!

Seeing OldBoy and Iron Giant on the big screen would be awesome.  I've never seen Leon and while I must have seen Big Trouble, I'm not 100% sure.

Yeah, once you've seen Jack Burton, a lasting impression is made.

Started a blog for the book company I work for.  It's just a collection of (what I think are) really cool book covers that we come across.  I'm still working out some of the kinks and I'm not 100% happy with the page layout, but you can get an idea of what we're going for:
