I had no interest in 'Hellboy 2', until the trailers started, and now I really do want to see it, even though I never saw the first one and have no strong love for 'Pan's Labyrinth' (beautiful art direction, though).

No real need to see the first one to enjoy the sequel, but i certainly think it cant hurt.

plus its a fun little movie. NOWHERE as good as the sequel though.

Fun fact: I've never seen a Guillermo del Toro movie I've liked in the least.

Hoping this breaks the curse.

I'm all disappointed, Jew Askew liked HELLBOY 2 and his excitement made ME excited, but now that he liked SHOOT'EM UP I'm back to not caring about HELLBOY 2.  Thanks a lot, SHOOT'EM UP!

Hellboy 2 is better then Shoot'em Up... There, I said it.

In the grand scheme of things, Shoot'em Up's not even that great, just leagues better then Wanted imo.

Dont let my liking of a movie I know is shit influence your view upon my liking of a movie that is actually great. I do, like some shitty movies. I watched Deep Rising twice this week.

DEEP RISING is like a blow job from a sexy angel compared to SHOOT'EM UP.

He also likes "Incredible Hulk" better than Iron Man.

Also Brian, seems like in your wrath you've branded all the board as people who liked SHOOT EM UP:

That's Luke Goss, who plays the evil Prince, on the right. Matt in the middle is his twin brother. They were in the imaginatively-titled boy band BROS. Rhymes with Goss. Ignore spotty little Craig on the left, everyone else did.

I was really into BROS as a kid. Now, I mean when I was seven or eight, they were the best band in the world. I think them, Dire Straits and WHAM! were the only band names I knew.

So, I've never quite gotten used to Luke Goss as an actor, cool as he was in Blade II and all. I always think of BROS' horrendously cheesy and utterly lovable boy-band songs. "I Owe You Nothing", "Drop The Boy" and "When Will I Be Famous?" still ring in my head when I see him.

Which isn't such a bad thing. Brings me back to me youth when I was but a young lad, in England at the time. Dancing around in a white vest and red cardigan, I imagined myself at least as cool as they looked. Gimme a break, I was seven.

I'm not sure which is scarier: the fact I remember having seen that photo before, or the fact that you happened to post it the same day their "reunion" was announced...

What the fuck, I didn't know you were a Brosette. How did you not get the shit kicked out of you in the playground for that?

I was more into Mel & Kim personally.

I saw Bros. open for Debbie Gibson in August of '89.

They were decent.

And they still don't owe me nothin'.
