Wow... Didn't In Living Color used to parody that movie? Maybe I'm wrong.

Also, what happened to Wendy and Token? When Principal Victoria asked for a volunteer, I knew it would go to Cartman, but I thought surely that's the kind of thing Wendy would want to do...

Or maybe in the next episode they'll parody the high school graduation episode of Boy Meets World and have the boys mention that all the characters that have fallen by the wayside are in the "other" wing of the school.

I've heard/seen the "I'm not your buddy, guy" bit repeated quite a few times since last week. I really hope that doesn't catch on.

*shudder*

Am I alone in enjoying the stand and deliver parody just a vehicle to the whole 'white people' way of doing things message?

I thought it was a pretty solid episode, not great, but I laughed a bunch.  When he got hired to go to the inner city school I was HOPING it was going to be a send up to "The Principle" (with Jim Belushi). I knew it wouldn't be but I was hoping.  But still the "stand and Deliver" parody was pretty funny.*

*And it was also funny because i was a pretty expert cheater in high school so i really related to it.

I was hoping they would have some reference to 'The Wire', like the 'Oz' references in the episode years ago ('Cartman's Silly hate Crime', I think).

Just a kid with Namond's hair, nothing too strong.

But I liked the episode.  It wasn't a gutbuster, but it was amusing.  I like it when they mock a type of movie (like the Little League one, or the one where Stan coaches pee-wee hockey); even if this one was the one specific movie, 'Stand and Deliver' is so emblematic of that type.

Loved it.  My favorite part was the little chuckle from the Apple guys when Kyle's dad said he uses a PC.
