That ending left me wide eyed. That was pretty great.

Yep. No more til March. Just realised that it's been 7 years since the last Christmas special. I know Woodland Critters Christmas would be hard to top, but Soouth Park Christmases were one of my favourite traditions.

One year (2004?) I asked Matt backstage at Jimmy Kimmel if they were planning a Christmas episode.  He told me they'd been kicking around an idea of doing "A Peripheral Character Christmas" where all of the side characters weren't invited to a Christmas party and rebelled.  I thought it sounded like a pretty funny idea, but that year I think they did Woodland Critters instead.  For years I was looking for them to do that concept (and I think they kinda did, but not at Christmas).

Has there been any recent news about 'Giant Monsters Attack Japan'?  (There's a modern 'Mothra' movie on cable that reminded me of the project.)

I think it's dead but I have the script.

Do you have it on your computer, or a hard copy?

South Park came back last night and no one cared. And Sean, I can get you the script.

I was pleasantly surprised to see it come up on my TiVo.  I thought it was a pretty strong start to the season.

I wasn't quite sure what the "message" was, but it was mostly funny.

I enjoyed it. I really liked Cartman gossiping on his phone whilst doing his nails in bed. Dunno why, it made me laugh every time.

Derick, any chance I could get the script aswell, please? If not, I understand.

I got one by Trey called Fuzzies the other day, but I haven't had the chance to read it yet. I hear it's quite old.

Whenever Trey Parker does a musical sequence, the episode is a ten.

That episode was a little slight, but it made me laugh a lot. The old people's voices on the phone, the music during the montage, and even that little throwaway thing of Cartman singing "Suck my balls, suck my balls" were all hysterically funny to me.

When they did that dog whisperer episode, Trey Parker recorded a version of the SUPER NANNY theme that still shuts me down laughing. The montage reminded me of that.

Just finished watching Cash For Gold.

Loved it. Business Cartman always brings his A game and I'm also in the boat when it comes to loving Trey's musical sequences. Too bad the name Trey Songz is already taken.

This week's was the best this season so far, I thought, even though it was exceedingly stupid, even by South Park standards.

I thought cash for Gold was much funnier. "Meme" kind of fell flat on me.
