wow, really?  Way to "photographic" looking for my taste.  Instead of looking like a drawing it looks like they used a photoshop "sketch" filter but didn't turn it up high enough.
That's not Alex Karras is it?

That's Ray Winstone.  He never looks the same.  Sometimes he looks like a poorly animated man from The Dark Ages, sometimes he looks like a Beaver.

I would've made the indy head smaller and the indy running from the baddies bigger, i would've also rendered Indy like a crappy anime version of him circa the late 70's.

Nah, the faces on this one look way more like photos then the other Indy posters.  Mainly Indy, Karen Allen and the Alex Karras looking guy.

It looks like pretty consistent a scale with the other one.

I don't know what Marion Ravenwood is doing in this movie, obviously, but I'd have to guess that her attitude in the poster is pretty misleading.

You're right SteveB. Dammit Struzan, how dare your hand drawn art be too good. We demand you make it worse at once.

Personally, I'd say Shia LaBeouf and Cate Blanchett look less like a photo than anybody on 'Last Crusade'.

For whatever reason, I didn't realize he had a moustache in this movie.

Come on, really!  The point of "art" is not to be as photo realistic as possible.  Otherwise you could just take a photo.  AND art is subjective. My opinion of this piece of art is that I don't like it because to me it looks too photo realistic.  That's not saying it's "bad" or "wrong".  I just don't like it as much as the other Indy posters (which I've always thought were great, as I do with most of Struzan work).

It looks like they were about to sent it out to the printer, and somebody said, "Wait a minute, we forgot Karen Allen!"  And they grabbed the nearest photo of her in the office they could find - which happened to be her headshot.

from the '80's, I'd say.

It's got to be the original headshot she sent in for 'Raiders', no?  She looks young enough to be Shia's love interest.
