Goldberg the Goalie is in that picture and he lost a ton of weight and looks weird now. I have the FREAKS AND GEEKS/UNDECLARED Paley reunion on DVD, and I didn't know who it was until they introduced him.
He'd lost a lot of weight after the pilot. He seemed relatively thin in all other episodes.

I recently started watching Sesame Street with my son. After noticing they no longer use Kermit, I learned that due to the sale to Disney, the Sesame characters are no longer Muppets. Maybe I'm romanticizing the past, but I think it's a real shame that Henson's creations are now all splintered across different corporate (or non-profit) entities. That Kermit no longer exists in the same universe as Big Bird bums me out more than it probably should.
Those "Sesame Street News Flash" bits were my favorite when I was a kid, if for no other reason than because they featured Kermit.

Nobody who is one trip and fall down the stairs away from a broken leg or neck, one mis-timed step in front of a bus, one car accident away from a hospital visit, or one tooth-abcess away from a blood infection doesn't need insurance. I never got into a car accident, I still need car insurance when I drive.
Exactly. I never thought I'd need insurance, either... until I did. One day, I was a strong, mentally healthy young man; the next, I was chronically ill for the rest of my life. No one knows what their future holds.

Angry Naked Pat / AngryNakedPat Forums / Weed-smoking neighbors: what are my rights?

Normally I'm a "live and let live" kind of guy. What people do in their own homes is their own business, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone.
Having said that, I moved my family into an apartment complex about three weeks ago. I've noticed--especially in recent days--that the smell of marijuana smoke wafts into my bathroom at night through the window, which we usually keep open.
If that wasn't bad enough, we left our apartment this afternoon at around 5 to go out to dinner, and the smell of pot was very strong in the common area. I immediately noticed four our five people standing outside the apartment a few doors down from us engaged in a game of "puff, puff, pass."
That's unacceptable. In an area through which my son and other children must travel to leave the apartment complex (on Halloween, no less), these dipshits are producing second-hand weed smoke for all to breathe and smell. In broad daylight.
Again, I'm no prude. I just don't want my living quarters to smell like a Cypress Hill concert. Advice?

11:36 pm, and we're still here. Contractions are still about five minutes apart. Doesn't seem like we've made much progress in the twelve hours we've been here, and there's no way I'm getting any sleep on this awful chair that folds out to a cot. I hope she's able to sleep through some of her contractions.
